ADS-B Exchange supports the efforts of search and rescue efforts of Civil Air Patrol and other units all over the US with our free feeder program to improve their local area coverage.
Plane watching is a great hobby, but for Civil Air Patrol and other Search and Rescue units, having this data available can literally be a matter of life and death. While we already provide this data free we would like to further support rescue units and their life savings missions by providing free hardware to improve their local coverage.
In addition, we are happy to provide technical support for both setting up the equipment as well as learning how to use the maps and data to discover flight paths and last known locations.
If you are interested, please contact the ADSBx Team through our Contact Page using an official unit email address. Please be prepared to provide info about your unit and the location you plan to install the equipment.
